I have a serious crush on these cropped pants! Gap calls the color Vermilion. Their a cross between red and orange.  I have to admit, I didn't put as much effort in my debut of these pants as I wanted. Monday's aren't always my best days.  I'll try something a bit edgier next time you see these.

Hope everyone is having a lovely Friday! I'm off work today and loving every second of it.  I slept until 11am. Yes, ELEVEN!!! Am I 18 again?!  I feel like I've been nonstop for the past two weeks. Finally, I feel rested.

These are the only outfit pictures I took while in Vegas. You just can't go wrong with a blazer and skinnies.  I picked this lovely clutch up at H&M while shopping with Drew and Amiee. I'm in love with it and can't wait to use it again.

By the time you read this post I will be in Vegas. I planned an awards bash for our VMSD Magazine at PURE Nightclub.  Our magazine asked our readers for nominations for the best up and coming young designers in the retail design industry.  Our editors picked the top 12 and Thursday night we are honoring them! It's really exciting stuff, read about it here.  Long story short, I'm onsite to make sure the event goes perfectly!   Drew came along with me and we're staying for the weekend! I'll be sure to post all my fun Vegas outfits as soon as I get home.

After years of procrastination, I finally ordered new glasses. What do you think?  My eyes feel a sense of freedom! A break from contacts AND stylish!?! Yes, please!  I'm channeling my inner nerd.

I went on a shopping trip this weekend.  Always a great time. I couldn't resist buying another pair of these skinnies from Target! If you haven't tried color skinnies yet, I suggest you should.

As you can see I switched up the outfit idea.  I ended up buying these shoes at DSW with the gift card my dad gave me for Christmas. Thanks Pops! NYE was wonderful! We had dinner with friends and then a long night out dancing. My feet were killing me by the end of the night. 

I hope everyone had a lovely NYE.  This is going to be a big exciting year for Drew and I! I can't wait!  Next to the usual get in shape and eat healthier new year resolution, I think my biggest is to make more time for family and friends.

I am so excited about Halloween this weekend!  We are going to a friend's house for a party tomorrow night.  I don't to spoil it and tell you about our costumes until I have pictures to post.  I made our costumes so I'm super proud of them.  I can't wait to show them off.

Note to self: ALWAYS hold this skirt while walking outside on a windy day.  This skirt has plenty of space for some serious airflow.  Bad news.  I came close to flashing many people in the parking lot today.  Close call.

Oh, and I promise to add some color back into my outfit selections this week. Apparently I have a serious obsession with this black/brown combo. I also have way less pink than I thought.

Got my CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) Application acceptance letter today!  That means it's officially the real deal.  Let the stress begin!
