Something Old & Blue

Dress: Kohl's - Lauren Conrad
Belt: TJ Maxx
Necklace: Charming Charlie
Shoes: Shoe Dazzle

Oh I love the color of this dress! So much fun! I pulled this little number from the back of my closet to wear for my best friend Jayme's birthday.  I think I stood in my closet for a good hour trying on different dresses before I decided on this one.   I picked it up at Kohl's a couple of years ago for Jayme's birthday and paired it with black shoes and silver jewlery. Just add different accessories and you have a whole new outfit!  Boom. While these shoes aren't the best for my dangerously good dance moves, they were the perfect touch for this outfit.

Black White & Coral

Top: Loft
Pants: Target
Shoes: shoedazzel.com

I don't know about you but this outfit reminds me of Uma Thurman's outfit during the Jack Rabbit Slims Twist Contest in Pulp Fiction.  Easily one of my many favorite scenes from the movie. This was my Friday date night oufit.  I can't tell you how many times during dinner I wanted to throw these shoes off and start doing the twist. For Drew's sake, I didn't go through with it.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend!

Music Monday: I Can Feel a Hot One

Top: Banana Republic, Skirt: Target, Coral Shoes: Marco Santi, Bracelet: Kohl's

Manchester Orchestra - I Can Feel a Hot One.

This band is brilliant.  This song is one of my top five favorites by MO.  It's heavy and everything about the lyrics is just perfect.   I've seen this band twice and I'll NEVER forget my second experience.   Andy, the lead singer, came out to perform this song alone.  The second he started singing everyone shut up.  Complete silence in a room full of hundreds of people.  It was beautiful.  I had chills the whole time. Such an amazing experience.

There isn't a song that I dislike by this band.  I'm sure I'll be sharing more in the near future.  Make sure you add this band to your list if you haven't already.  Thank me later.
