Sucker for a Sale

Top: Target
Pants: Forever21
Boots: Alloy
Belt: Thrifted
Necklace: Charming Charlie
Bag: Kohl's

Ladies, in case you haven't noticed, I'm a sucker for a great sale. What woman isn't?!?  This leopard bag is another one of my great finds!  I picked it up at Kohl's for eight bucks, originally priced at $70.  It took everything I had not to jump for joy when I found it.

I promise when I get back in town that I'll post some outfits that do not include black skinnies ;)

New Boots!

Tunic - NY & Co.
Sweater - Old Navy
Leggings - Forever21
Boots - Steve Madden Luxe - DSW
Necklace: Avon

By the time you read this post I will be in Vail running around like a mad woman.  I decided since I will be so busy with no access to my camera, I'd schedule a few posts for you this week.

I went shopping over the weekend to pick up a few sweaters and cold weather pieces to wear while in Vail. End of season shopping is the best! I found some really amazing sales!  Like these boots, 70% off! I fell in love with them the second I saw them.  I'm sure you'll be seeing a lot of them before the season ends.

Grandma-ish Sweater

Sweater: Kohl's
Stripped sweater: Banana Republic
Skinnies: Forever21
Boots: Alloy
Necklace: Charming Charlie

Another apology for the lack of posts. Next week is my first event in Vail! Needless to say, it's a bit crazy in the office this week.

I snagged this Lauren Conrad sweater from Kohl's for just $10!!  Super sale!!!  I wasn't so sure about it at first. Now, I love it!  You would have never caught me this grandma-ish sweater a year ago. My, how things change.

Week 3

Top: Francesca's
Pants & Scarf: Target
Shoes: DSW

Worn Friday night.

My new job has been the hot topic on my blog lately. I can't help it!  This is week 3 and it's going wonderfully.  I am crazy busy and love every single second of it. I'm surrounded by such amazing positive people here. I feel like I'm in a whole new world!  I've been trying to get in the swing of my new work schedule trying to balance it with my personal life. Man, it's harder the older you get!  I feel like I never have enough time in my day.  I'll figure it all out soon enough. Thanks homies for putting up with me being so distant.  I'll be back around soon, promise.

Pants Again

 Top: H&M
Blazer: NY & Co.
Jeans: Guess
Boots: Target
Necklace: Charming Charlie

Yes, I'm wearing pants AGAIN! Breathe Bre it's okay! Maybe I should clarify for those reading for the first time.  No, I do not have an issue wearing clothes on my bottom half. I'm notorious for wearing a lot of skirts. So, having more than one outfit post involving pants is rare.

Any big plans this weekend? A bunch of us are going out tonight. A much needed celebration with one of my besties to celebrate our new jobs!

Everyone have a lovely!

Red Pants

Top: Loft
Sweater: NY&Co.
Pants: Target
Boots: Alloy
Necklace: Kohls

No, I didn't rock the red pants to work. I will though! Just give me time.  I wore this number to my besties' little girls first b-day party.   Can you tell me a better way to debut a pair of red pants? I didn't think so.

Don't give up on me yet! I promise to have regular posts soon.  I am just trying to get in the swing of things at work. Exciting news though! My first event is in Vegas in March! We are planning an awards party in-conjunction-with Global Shop.  GlobalShop is the world’s largest annual event for retail design and shopper marketing. Pretty exciting stuff!

One Day of Work

Sweater & Boots: Target
Skirt: Gift from my mom (Simply Vera Wang, Kohl's)
Necklace: Charming Charlie

I made myself presentable for the one day I had to work this week. I was beginning to feel like a slob spending all of that time at home in my pj's. If I wasn't studying so much I'd probably be bored to death or out shopping and spending money I shouldn't.

I'm in love with this skirt! Good job Mom!!! It's so comfortable and completely different than anything I have in my closet. I have a feeling you'll be seeing a lot of this skirt.

Counting Down

Dress: Express
Tights: NY &Co.
Boots: Alloy
Belt: Target
Necklace: Charming Charlie

5 days left at Kroger, 18 days until my exam,  20 days until I start my new job.  A bit overwhelming.  I'm stressed about the test, emotional about leaving my Kroger family, and nervous about my new career adventure. I just want to say thanks to my friends, you too Drew, who have been there for me lately. You know who you are.  I feel so lucky to have people in my life that care so much.  Heartchoo.

Ready for The Weekend!

Dress: Forever21
Jean Jacket: NY & Co.
Scarf & Boots: Target
Tights & Socks: Kohl's

I feel somewhat guilty for making this an outfit post.  You've seen this dress with every item I'm wearing just not simultaneously.  Like I've mentioned a billion times before, this is my go to dress.

I hope everyone has a lovely weekend planned!  Drew and I are going on a date night to my absolute favorite restaurant, Local 127.   He's been out of town over the past couple of days so I'm really looking forward to this night out with him.

xoxo

See ya, Bare Legs!

Sweater & Skirt: Target
Top: Loft
Socks & Earrings: Kohl's
Boots: Alloy

The cold is finally here!  I shouldn't say finally because I'm not really thrilled about it.  I can officially say goodbye to my bare legs for a few months.  See ya, you will be missed.   At least it's starting to feel more like the Holiday season!  NOW I'm ready for Christmas!

I wore this outfit while wedding dress shopping a couple of weekends ago.  Yes, I ALREADY bought a dress.  I decided to make a trip just to see what was in my budget.  I ended up buying the very last dress I tried on.  I obviously can't go into details since Drew reads my blog everyday.  I honestly didn't think I'd walk out with a dress.  The moment I put this one on,  tears started flowing!  It was meant to be.

Let the Planning Begin!

Top & Boots: Target
Skirt: Banana Republic
Socks -Vera Wang for Kohl's
Belt: Thrifted

I wore this outfit while cupcaking and thirfting on Saturday.  What a great day that was. I love how a pair of yellow tights and a skirt can be worn so casually.  Most people think jeans when they think about dressing down or being comfortable.  For me, a skirt is always my go to.  But you all knew that.

Did I tell you Drew and I set a date?? Oh yes.  August 25th, 2012 !  We wanted a fall wedding and a specific venue so this is the closest we could get.  I'm beyond excited! I'm a planner by profession so you can only imagine how my mind is racing!  We had thought a little bit about waiting until Fall of 2013 but quickly decided that planning for two years just wasn't going to cut it.  We have our venue and ceremony site booked so let the planning begin!  I can't even describe how happy I am ♥

Attack of the Neutrals

Skirt: Banana Republic
Top: Loft
Blazer & Tights: Target
Boots: Alloy
Bag: Michael Koors - Gift from my fiance

Whoa dude...black, gray, and brown?? Yes, this is happening. Since starting this blog my style has changed so much.  I'm much more willing to take risks.  Just a couple of years ago I would have never thought to wear black and brown.  Now, I'll pretty much wear these boots with anything!
I'm home sick today. No good.  These shots were from yesterday.  My face was pretty much swollen and my nose was bright red from blowing it.  I figured I'd spare the face shots.  The blog is about the outfit anyway, right?

Don't forget...

Freakishly Warm Outisde

Dress: Loft
Jean Jacket: NY&Co.
Boots: Alloy
Belt: Thirfted
Scarf: Target
Bracelet: Kohl's

We are having freakishly warm weather right now.  I'm not complaining though.  Usually this is the time we all cry about how cold it is outside.  I'm usually already over wearing tights at this point.  So, thanks Mother Nature for letting the legs breath a few extra days.

I'm on a roll with spring/summer to fall transitions.  This was one of my favorite dresses to wear this Summer. It's so easy to transition by simply adding a pair of boots or even tights.

Do you have a favorite spring to fall outfit transition?

DON'T FORGET...
