Using the old camera again.  I'll be buying a new one soon... CAN'T WAIT!

Oh. Yes.  It's beautiful outside!  Not gonna lie...I'm already a glass of wine deep. It's okay, it's Thursday and tomorrow is company pinic day. For me that means free half day.  

I really think I should pay attention to the weather more when choosing my outfits in the morning.  All week I've been sweating like a cat in a room full of rocking chairs. You can use it. Makes me giggle every time.  So today I decided to dress cool and I froze my butt off ALL DAY.  Oh well. 

I'm seriously in love with this scarf.  I over wear new things that I love so much.  I quickly get tired of them and put them away. It always feels like Christmas when I find them again.

EBEW: Yellow

Wow it is just too hot out to think.  Bleh.  I think it's just as hot in my office as it is outside...not good.  It's starting to ruin our food day.  Who wants to eat when their this hot?!?!  Okay, sorry. Enough ranting.

I was excited to hear that yellow was the pick for EBEW.  I obviously thought of these great shoes immediately.  They're so comfy and I just love the shade of yellow.

I'm sad to say I broke my camera during this little photo shoot.  My tripod is a bit on the wobbly side.  I set it up and walked away to go pose and BOOM! It fell.  It jammed the lense and it won't let me take pics anymore.  I might have to dig up an old camera just to keep my 30x30 going.  NOT HAPPY.  RIP camera.  On the bright side,  I think I might be investing in a much nicer camera.  Why not, right? I would use it every single day.

I can feel a hot one

Whoa dude! It's SERIOUSLY hot out. I love warm weather but this is a bit much.  I think days like this everyone should be able to skip work and go to the pool.  Good idea, right?

There's that scarf again.  I love it.  After much inspiration from a couple of my favorite bloggers, (26 and Counting  and Kendi Everyday...just to name a couple)  I had to get one of my own to try.   I really don't know why I don't wear these pink shoes more often. Oh I remember now...they KILL my feet.  Oh the price we pay...

Tomorrow is a great day.  FOOD DAY!  We are celebrating some b-days at work.  Didn't you know?  Celebration food has zero calories.  It's true.  I'll be whipping up some dark chocolate brownies AND cinnamon muffins.  Yum-o.

Switcharoo

I had to switch jeans for my 30x30.  My original selection included my jeggings from Target.  It's just too hot to wear those super tight things right now.  I decided to choose something a wee bit breezy.  Hope you don't mind.  I also decided to give the scarf/belt combo a try.  I was nervous about it at first but I got so many compliments on it at work.  I'm in love with this scarf and can't wait to wear it again.

The race yesterday was a success. Always a great time hanging with my favorite men in the world (Dad, Bro, & Drew).  I'll have a few pics to share later. 

I think I'm gonna go blow my Macy's gift card today.  I don't think that breaks any 30x30 rules if it's a gift, right?

A confession

Ahhhh Friday.  So glad it's here.  Okay, I have a confession.  I have a hidden "redneck" side.  I do. It's true.  You see, tomorrow is big day for my family.  My dad, brother, Drew and I are goning to our first ever Sprint Cup NASCAR race.  We've been waiting for this day for so long!  I shouldn't include Drew when I say we.  He's still trying to get used to it all.  Not only have I converted him to the Kentucky side, he's going to a NASCAR race.  If we have time to snap pics between beer and cornhole games, I'll share.

On to the good stuff..  This top has to be the girliest top I own.  I love it though.  I was a bit nervous about pairing this top with this skirt but I think it works.

This one tops the charts as my 30x30 fav so far. These shoes make me feel sassy and I'm loving yellow and turquoise right now.

Drew and I have been working like crazy cleaning, painting, and reorganizing the house.  It's starting to feel like a new crib. I love it.

It's getting late and I'm old...I mean sleepy.  Night!

Dang blond hair!  I haven't even had my re-growth touched up in months and it's still this blond.  Cah-razy.  

Outfit #15 was my work outfit today.  I really love the colors on this skirt.  I don't think you can see it in the pics but it has some splashes of light blue through it too. I love it.  I had to run some errands immediately after work. I threw on some shorts and sandals...wha la! Outfit #16! A very simple work to play outfit remix.

Soooo, do you see my awesome b-day present!!?!  Ahem..MK bag...Ahem.  I swear Drew is so damn good.  Well, he had the help of my berry berry sneaky bestie, Amiee.  I've never ever in my life had a real leather bag.  I will most likely carry this thing until it falls apart.  It's love...it really is.
