This was my Saturday night outfit. No, the bird shirt is not new.  Well, not since my shopping band.  I know, I know, how do we know you're telling the truth, Ang!?  Just trust me, I am.   I think you'll believe me more when you start to see the dark circles suddenly appear under my eyes.  That's what happens when you have shopping withdraw, right?!

This skirt and jacket were my latest purchase. I've been looking for a simple casual black skirt like this for so long.  $60 skirt on sale for $20...booyah!  The jacket, on the other hand, not on sale.  I needed a  fall jacket.  It's not cold enough for the old winter jacket.

I've decided to follow Lilly's lead at Lilly's Style and try to not shop in October.  It's going to be difficult right at the beginning of a season change, but I think I can do it. Wish me luck.

The Best Dress Pants

You can't really tell in the pictures but my pants are navy. In my opinion, New York and Company has THE BEST dress pants.  I love the length and flowiness of these.  I'm so biased that I've never really tried buying dress pants anywhere else.  So tell me, am I wrong? Is there an amazing pair of pants out there that I'm missing out on?  Do tell! How many times could I possibly say the word pants in this post?

The Winter Box

Good morning, Loves! It's almost Friday.  Thank goodness! Earlier this week I dug out my winter clothes box. As much as I didn't want to see Summer go, I was ready.  I had about 6 skirts and a few sweaters packed away, this skirt included.  It was like Christmas! This girl loves to shop, especially when the seasons change.  Packing away clothes and the rediscovering them really suppresses my shopping addiction adventures. My wallet will appreciate that. 

Has anyone else busted out the winter box yet? Any great finds??

Have you ever seen the Cotton commercial with Kate Bosworth? I want that closet!! Not to mention the adorable dresses she wears.  I know, random. The commercial came on while I was sitting here trying to figure out what to type.

I got a lot of  "Oh, your pants are yellow!" comments today. Maybe the Kroger world wasn't ready for yellow britches just yet. 

Sorry for the short and random posts, my friends.  I'm starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel at work.  Thank goodness.

So, I guess this would be a men's wear look even though it's not actually menswear.  I've had this vest for years and probably haven't worn it in years. I actually have matching pants...it's a whole suite thing I guess.  I've never worn the two together. In fact, I didn't even purchase them at the same time.  When I went to put the pants away I saw my vest and was like "Well I'll be darned!"  that's how us Kentucky folk talk.  Anyway, I really like the material of the vest...I should wear it more often.

So, happy it's FINALLY Thursday!  My little sister got asked to homecoming and asked me to help her get ready. ADORABLE.  I'm really looking forward to it.

I went full on bangs this time!  What do you think?  On Monday had one of those annoying bad hair days where enough was enough.  I decided it was time for a change.  So, this is what I did tonight (Tuesday night).  I think I dig it.  I've had short bangs but never like this.  I can't wait for my hair to be longer!

It's jeans week at work. Donate $5 to United Way and get a jeans pass, not too shabby.
