Outfit inspiration and weekend update

I had some serious outfit inspiration from Kendi! I've had this skirt for so long and had almost given up on it a few times.  Now, we've rekindled that love and we're bff's again.

Wow, I've been slacking! No posts since Thursday. Sorry dudes.   I had a pretty eventful weekend actually.  Drew and I started date night immediately after work on Friday.  We stayed downtown and walked to  Via Vite on the square for drinks.  I tried a a chicken liver pate which was surprisingly AMAZING!

After dinner we went to Local 127.  Click on the link and checkout the menu. AMAZING!  It's a very organic farm to table type of restaurant.  Most of it is locally grown food.  I recommend the scallops or the duck. My favorite part was ordering coffee after dinner...1.) it was french pressed,  2.) I asked them to put Bailey's in it, and 3.) they served it with a side of fresh whipped cream and dark chocolate chunks!!!!!!!!!! What more could you ask for?  Anyway, if you live in the area or you're visiting Cincinnati PLEASE do yourself a favor and try this restaurant.

So yeah, I was too busy for outfit pics that night (I forgot my camera).  Other than that, I spent my weekend deep cleaning my house and studying for the good old CMP. WOOT!

This does seem like a Kendi inspired outfit, and I think it looks fantastic! I am seriously coveting that skirt...I'm glad the two of you have reconciled :)

That skirt is really cute, I love how you paired it with the brown, and those shoes are killer!

You looked fab. I love your skirt and the pop of color with your necklace. Did I mention how much I adore your shoes? Anyway, I am glad you rekindled with your skirt, it suits you well.
Cheers,

Thanks ladies! The best part about this skirt is the pockets!! I have such a soft spot for pockets!
