First of all, this was my Thursday outfit. This dress is one of my favs. You've seen it before covered up with a sweater. Now that it's warmer out, I don't have to cover up this beauty!
This is a really big year for my boyfriend, Drew. He graduates with his MBA from Xavier in August, and starts a great new job with Toyota Boshoku next week! I'm so proud, happy, excited for him. It's a little bittersweet for me today. You see, Drew and I met at Kroger where I currently work now. My department moved to the 5th floor 3 years ago and his office was only 10 ft from mine. I won't go into all the details of how we started dating (it's pretty cute and funny). He stareted working for 5/3 (the bank) not too long after, still downtown. Long story short, we were always going to lunches together, taking walks, staying downtown for date nights after work and all of that fun stuff. Now, his new job is going to be in Northern Kentucky. I'm REALLY gonna miss him!
Tonight, to celebrate his new job and his last day working downtown, we decided to have one of our "downtown date nights". We're going for happy hour drinks first and then to NADA for dinner. While I'm SOOO happy for his new job, I'm gonna miss him down here :(
Cheers Boo!
Sheesh! How many times did I type downtown?
DOWNTOWN!
Kay, I'm done. Happy Friday!

Super nice outfit!
p.s. Congrats to your boyfriend :)
I'm bummed for you! Downtown can really be great and it sounds like you and Drew take advantage of it. Have fun at Nada - it's seriously my favorite place :)
Great dress...love how you paired with the brown belt and neutrals sandals! Congrats on the boyfriends new job, boo for no more lunch together!
