Back to Work Look

Sweater: Old Navy / Shoes: Jessica Simpson / Skirt: NY & Co. / Necklace: Charming Charlie

This week on EBEW, bloggers are posting their favorite back to school looks. I thought this link-up was appropriate since this outfit is from my first week back to Kroger.  Yes, I said KROGER! Do you understand how hard it's been keeping this a secret from you? I'll save the details for another time but Kroger has hired me back as their Senior Meeting Planner. YAY!

With a new job comes shopping, right? I picked up this whole outfit for next to nothing over Labor Day weekend. These sales were just in time for my Fall shopping itch.

News!

Skirt: ModCloth
Blazer - Lauren Conrad - Kohl's
Top: Loft
Tights: NY&Co.
Shoes: Jessica Simpson - DSW
Necklace: Forever21
Bracelete: Gift

Finally! I can talk about my news!!

I recently accepted a new Event Planning position outside of Kroger.  This is such a big step for me and my career.  The company provides industry trade publications such as books, magazines, and websites.  They host a big event for each trade magazine that I will be responsible for. The magazines focus on retail design, graphic design, and boutique hotel design. Right up my alley!  I get to work closely with the publishers and the marketing department to develop these events from scratch.  I start January 9th.   I feel like the position was tailored just for me!  I can't say just yet, but I'm thinking this could be my dream job :)

Crazy Crazy

Dress: Modcloth
Tights: Kohl's
Shoes: Jessica Simpson - DSW
Jacket: NY & Co.
Earrings: Charming Charlie

These pictures were taken before the craziness!  I figured since I've been slacking on outfit posts this week, I'd go ahead and post these anyway.   I promise once all this sets in I'll go back to having regular posts.

This is the dress I wore for my birthday in July.  I think pairing it with black really makes it stand out.  Another example of turning a summer dress into a fall outfit!
