This skirt and jacket were my latest purchase. I've been looking for a simple casual black skirt like this for so long. $60 skirt on sale for $20...booyah! The jacket, on the other hand, not on sale. Ineeded a fall jacket. It's not cold enough for the old winter jacket.
I've decided to follow Lilly's lead at Lilly's Style and try to not shop in October. It's going to be difficult right at the beginning of a season change, but I think I can do it. Wish me luck.

Girl, we can do this. This month will fly by and before we know it, we will have succeeded with the shopping ban and out savings account will love it too (I keep telling that myself)... :)

awesome purchases indeed :) I really should follow this 'no shopping in october' deal, but it's so hard in the transitional season!! There's always something you feel like you need in order to make your winter wardrobe complete, but then it just ends up being one after another...
